Join us at 6 am Christmas morning for our annual candlelight service.  This is a long standing tradition you won’t want to miss.  Kids can come in their PJ’s.

The emphasis will be on support for those struggling with substance abuse, but anyone is welcome to come.  If you know someone who may benefit from this support group, please take some invite cards from the foyer table.  

Join us for our children’s Christmas program.

Ladies, join us on Thursday, December 12, for Jingle in the Junction. Meet at church at 5pm to ride together or at Gilroy’s in Valley Junction at 5:30pm for dinner followed by shopping. Festivities run until 8pm. Sign up on the foyer table so we can include you in the count for dinner, and to let us know if you plan to ride with us.

The parenting group will meet at Scornovacca’s (1930 SE 14th, Des Moines) at 5pm for their Christmas Party on Sunday, December 8.

You are invited to our church’s annual Thanksgiving dinner in the fellowship hall.  Turkey, dressing, potatoes, gravy, and coffee/water will be furnished.  Please bring the following: · Those with families, please bring two dishes: salad, side, or dessert. · Singles are asked to bring one dish: salad, side, or dessert. · Please bring your own table service and beverage. Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm from September thru April. Join us each week for programs for 3 years of age through high school

On Saturday, November 9, meet at the church at 10am and we’ll head to a nearby park to play disc golf and return to the church by noon. If you have your own discs, you can bring them.  Otherwise, we have some you can use. All students and friends in 6th thru 12th grade are welcome. 

All men are welcome to come to the church for a terrifically terrible B-Movie from the old days.  Bring a snack to share.  See you then!
